mac & cheese

Serves 6–8

Oven at 350ºF

45 minutes

ingredients

8 oz elbow noddles

1/4 cup butter

3 tbsp AP flour

1/8 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

2 cups milk

2 cups (8 oz) American cheese

2 cups crushed crackers

instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350º.

2. Cook pasta for 10 minutes and drain. Pour into 8×10 baking dish.

3. Melt butter in medium sauce pan. Add flour, salt, and pepper.

4. Once mixture is smooth and bubbly, gradually add milk. Stir constantly over medium heat until boils.

5. Gradually mix in cheese. Stir over low heat until cheese is melted.

6. Pour cheese mixture over pasta. Cover in crushed crackers and bake for 25 minutes.
