nancy's fudge

Serves 8–10

20 to 25 minutes

ingredients

2 cups white sugar

1 cup whole milk

2 blocks baker’s chocolate

2 1/2 tbsp light Karo syrup

1 tsp vanilla

2 globs peanut butter

1 in pat of butter

instructions

1. Combine sugar, milk, and chocolate in a heavy-bottom pan. Mix well and bring to a boil. Add Karo and cook to soft ball stage.

2. Remove from heat and add vanilla, butter, and peanut butter.

3. Beat until thick. Pour into a prepared baking dish (9×9 usually works). Refrigerate or let sit on counter to harden.
