blueberry crumble

Serves 8–10

Oven at 350ºF

45 minutes

ingredients

filling

3 pints fresh blueberries

1 lemon (zest and juice)

3 tbsp sugar

3 tbsp flour

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

pinch of salt

 

topping

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup flour

2 cups rolled oats

1 stick cold salted butter

instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350º.

2. Wash blueberries and leave wet. (Can add 1-2 tbsp of water to blueberries to have more sauce.)

3. Add zest of 1 lemon and juice of half to the blueberries.

4. Add sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt and mix together. (Add sugar to taste if necessary.)

5. Pour mixture into 9×13 pan.

6. Combine topping ingredients in small bowl. Add cold butter in small pieces and cut in, using hands if necessary.

7. Spread topping over blueberry mixture.

8. Bake for 35 min or until bubbly and golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
